Saravanan as/ in Karuppan

Karuppan is a film based on a real incident which happened a few years ago in Virudhunagar District. Saravanan who is doing the lead role will be in act in a different dimension in this film. He will be doing a similar role to that of Vellu Naicker which Kamal Hassan donned in Nayagan. The youthful pair is all new faces. Adhi Shankar, Sherin and Hassini will be cast in the lead roles. Riaz Khan, Santhanabharathi, Thennavan, Junior Balaiah, Gowtham and Vichu are also sharing the screen.

K.R.Latchmi Raj is wielding the camera while Adhityan composes the tunes. V.Hari who is the grandson of the most popular yester year actress S.N.Latchmi is directing this film. He has also written the story, screen play and dialogues.

This film is being produced under the banner Orange Communications. The shooting of this film is to take place in Madurai, Virudhunagar, Munnar, Kerala and Kodaikanal.
