Mamta looking out for village girl roles

“I want to take up roles of an innocent village girl following the Indian culture, tradition and of course the dress. But I am not offered such kind of roles to play” said actress Mamta who has completed shooting for the film ‘Guru En Aalu’ starring Maddy in lead role.

Speaking about her life in tinsel town, she says that soon after completing her college in Kerala, she had opportunities to act in Malayalam and was successful there.

Interested in music, she learnt it and did the best with her stunning voice in Telugu films like ‘Raakki’, ‘Jagadam’ and ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’. She has paired up with almost all the heroes in Tollywood and still has a great desire of pairing up with Cheeranjivi. “If I am offered to play the role of a village girl, I am sure about refusing 5 projects where I am portrayed as modern girl and take up this offer’, adds Mamta Mohandas.
