Sona in Malayalam film
Actress Sona, a sensational and most happening girl in Kollywood, has bagged a meaty role in the upcoming Malayalam movie Venal, produced by Sasi Kumar Naattakam under the banner of S.K. Entertainments. Mohana Krishnan handles the direction and the script.

Venal revolves around a widow, Muthulakshmi who wants to take revenge on the person who murdered her husband their marriage day. After a long eight years, how Muthulakshmi kills the murderer, is the climax of the film.
Other cast members include Bala, Lakshana, Kochin Haneefa, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Biju Kuttan, Shoba Mohan and others. Camera is handled by Saadath, lyrics by Jofi Tharakan and Varghese Parakkadavu. Music is scored by Ram Surendran.
Debuting with Sivapathikaaram directed by Karu Palaniappan, Sona recently appeared for as Vadivelu’s pair in the Rajinikanth starrer Kucheludu. Sona has already acted in 17 Telugu, 12 Tamil and 3 Malayalam films.
She is all set to make her Kannada debut with Nam Yejamanru, which will be released soon.
