Pudhu Kathai: A novel storyline

Here comes a film which lives up to its title! Yes, Puthu Kathai (New Story) has got a new story to narrate. Produced by J.P. Films and directed by debutant R. Venu, the film has a storyline different from what we are used to.

Starring prominent actresses Rambha, Samiksha and a bunch of newcomers, Pudhu Kathai is a crime-thriller about three friends who are looking for some easy money. One day they meet a rich man, who offers them a bizarre assignment – he pays them to get himself killed at their hands! Though they are reluctant initially, the hefty sum he offers makes them agree to the plan. But the day they arrive to kill him, they find he is already murdered by someone else but the blame falls on them. Who is this bizarre rich man? Who killed him? How do the friends prove their innocence? Find out by watching the film.

Eminent actor Nasser plays a vital role. Debutants Vijay Sai, Mithra and Vikram have given commendable performances. Apart from adding to the glamour quotient, Samiksha and Rambha have vital roles to play in the film.
