Pournami Nagam launched

Yaar Kannan, director of the supernatural thriller Yaar, is back after a long gap with Pournami Nagam, a remake of the Telugu film Punnami Nagam with dancing girl Mumaith Khan in a double role for the first time in her career. The film revolves around two ‘Naga Devatas’ (female snakes), who want to perform a ritualistic dance before Lord Shiva in a bid to save the earth from a fast-approaching collapse and annihilation. Mumaith also appears as a young girl.

Nizhalgal Ravi, Karunas, Mayilsami, Sampath, Delhi Ganesh and Nalini are in the cast. Shooting will be in special locations like Bommalapalayam. A lot of computer graphics are used to enhance Bernard’s camera work. G.K. handles art direction while S.A. Rajkumar composes music for the film. The launch of this remake film took place recently in the city.
