Meena weds at Tirumala

Renowned South Indian actress Meena has entered into wedlock with Vidyasagar, an IT professional from Banglore, at Tirumala hills near Tirupati on Sunday. After getting married, the newly-wed couple offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara and left for Chennai. A grand reception will be held at Mayor Ramanathan Hall in Chennai on July 14.

Meena, who debuted as a child artist nearly 27 years ago (Nenjangal) and later became a prominent heroine in 1991 (Oru Pudhiya Kathai), is still active as a heroine. She recently entered the small screen with Sathyajothi Films’s teleserial ‘Kalyanam’, being aired by Sun TV, and is currently busy with Vengamamba, a devotional film in Telugu, in which she plays the title role of saint-poetess Tarigonda Vengamamba.
