Sivaji Ganesan statue at Madurai

Kamal Haasan is to preside over a function where a larger-than-life size bronze statue (of height 8′ 6″ or 2.6 metres) of late thespian actor Sivaji Ganesan is to be unveiled by Union Minister M.K. Azhagiri at Madurai on October 4.
Prominent actors including Vijaykumar, Napoleon, Vadivelu and Manorama along with directors P. Vasu and Sasikumar are to grace the function.
With his statues already intalled at Chennai, Trichy and Puducherry, this will be the fourth statue of Sivaji Ganesan, said the actor’s son Ramkumar.
The statue has been erected near Madurai Raja Muthiah Manram.
