Rajini’s Rana to begin next week?

Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Rana, directed by K.S. Ravikumar will reportedly go on floors next week. In Rana, Rajni will appear in triple roles: youth, middle aged and old.

The director also confirmed that so far Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has been confirmed, while the others are still to be finalized. The film is produced jointly by his daughter Soundarya’s Ocher Studios and Eros International. The budget for this magnum opus is estimated to be around Rs. 100 crores.

A.R. Rahman will compose the music while Ratnavelu will be the cinematographer. According to reports, the film will be set in three different eras and our Superstar will sport three different looks.
