Seeman courts controversy again!
Director Seeman has been a firebrand working for the cause of the Sri Lankan Tamils, and has also courted a jail sentence for the same. But this time, Seeman’s name has hit the headlines for no humanitarian cause.
His name was mud after actress Vijayalakshmi (of Friends and Boss Engira Baskaran fame) accused him of reneging on a promise of marrying her after a 3-year-long relationship, and decided to take him to court. Meanwhile, Seeman has hit back at Vijayalakshmi with a defamation suit of nearly 5 crores!
Rubbishing all these allegations, Seeman has announced that he will be marrying a Sri Lankan lady Yalmathy, whom he met in that country. However, Yalmathy and her deceased husband were reportedly working for the LTTE, and she has gone missing since the last war. Sources close to Seeman state that he is determined to find her and marry her, and also that he has initiated search operations to find her.
