Ajith thanks Arjun

Now that the shoot of ‘Mankatha’, Ajith’s 50th film is over, Ajith has thanked each and everyone involved in the film for their support and co-operation to the project. Topping his thank you list, we learn, is ‘Action King’ Arjun.

“Ajith was so touched with the down-to-earth approach of Arjun, who too is a leading actor and in fact a senior to Ajith. So Thala specially thanked him for being part of the project,” sources close to the unit say.

Currently in its post-production stage, ‘Mankatha’, produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies and directed by Venkat Prabhu, is a multi-starrer, with Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Andrea Jeremiah, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi and Vaibhav essaying lead roles. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Venkat Prabhu will direct his next film under Yuvan’s production banner. However, nothing is official so far and the director says his sole concentration is on ‘Mankatha’ now.
