Ilaiyaraja’s special act for Nayanthara

Ilaiyaraja has composed the music for Nayanthara’s swansong Sri Rama Rajyam with Telugu star, Balakrishna. For this film Isaignani has composed as many as 14 songs! The maestro has made it a habit to work only on projects that he feels passionate about and this film based on one of India’s great epics, the Ramayana seems to have prompted him to exercise his musical genius like never before.

Nayan plays Sita in the film. She is said to have buried herself in the character and put her heart and soul into it as this will be her last outing on the silver screen.
