Venkat Prabhu, who is on cloud nine after his recently released Mankatha received overwhelming response from the audience, is eyeing to direct yet another big star! Well, the filmmaker’s next movie will be with none other than Surya.

Grapevine is abuzz with the news that Venkat Prabhu will be teaming up with Surya for his next film. The filmmaker has reportedly signed the Ghajini star for his future project. The proposed film might be delayed, as the actor is currently busy with the promotions of 7aam Arivu. He has to complete KV Anand’s Maatraan and Hari’s untitled movie before starting this movie, says a source.

Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu is on a holiday with his family. The filmmaker is expected to announce after returning from his vacation.
