Dhanush to sing a duet with Shruti Hassan for “3″

Ever since Dhanush made his voice for his brother Selvaragavan’s movie Mayakkam Enna, the song rendition is back in 3. This time it is with Shruthi Hassan the professional musician. Now we can preclude that there has now been a glue to the artists to try their voice for a song in the movie.

The lone exception, among the leading stars, is Kamal Hassan who used to sing regularly in his films whenever the song demanded his voices. Recently Vikram has also joined this group by singing songs in Kandasamy & Deiva Thirumagal. Dhanush’s close competitor Simbhu has an unusual habit of singing songs for other stars also.

For 3, the songs are composed by the debutant Anirudh and Dhanush-Shruthi song is a duet number. The movie is directed by Dhanush’s wife Aiswarya and the affinity between her and Shruthi has romped home the desire.
