Suriya in Vettrimaran’s direction?

The National Award winning director Vettrimaran has announced already that he is to direct a film that will be produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies. The director was waiting for the producer to steer clear of the Ajith starrer Mankatha and since the film has been released, Vettrimaran is now getting his undivided attention.

Both Dayanidhi Alagiri as well as Vettrimaran has been saying that they have not zeroed in on any hero for their forthcoming venture together but now we got to know that they have Suriya in mind to play the lead role. Dayanidhi has tweeted very recently that he will announce the star cast for this venture during the first week of November.

Suriya is currently busy with Matraan, directed by KV Anand, and may sign up Vettrimaran’s project, we are told.
