Allow Thambi Vettothi Sundaram, says Producers’ Council

The Producers’ Council has chipped in support of Thambi Vettothi Sundaram, starring Karan, Anjali and Saravanan. There was protest outside the Collectors’ Officer in Kanyakumari District recently not to release this film as it would hurt the sentiments of thousands of people in the district as well as the descendants of Thambi Vettothi Sundaram.

Reacting to this, Karan had appealed a few days ago to let the film release before arriving at such baseless conclusions. Talking on the same lines, the Producers’ Council Treasurer S Dhanu said that the film will be an honor to the people in Kanyakumari District and it is not fair to stall its release without knowing about its contents. Thambi Vettothi Sundaram is produced by Senthil Kumar and directed by VC Vadivudayan.
