If reports from Kollywood are to be believed, Rana Dagubbati has declined an offer to star in a Tamil film to be directed by the National Award winning director Vettrimaran. The director has plans to dub Vada Chennai in Telugu and hence wanted a bankable Tollywood star to share the screen space with Simbu.
Even Rana is said to have been excited over the Vada Chennai storyline. However, when he came to know that Simbu is the other lead, he is said to have developed a cold feet and decided to let go of the project.
Apparently, Rana is not so keen on sharing the screen space with Simbu and has conveyed this to Vettrimaran, who now is on the look out for another star.
