Nearly a year’s time has run out for comedian Vadivelu to make public appearance and screen images. It was during the state Assembly elections that he sided with the then ruling party for the election propaganda. With the debacle for that party, Vadivelu was targeted for criticism and likely protests from the winning party.

He has kept himself at recluse and came to the screens only with the latest Mambattiyan. This is comfortable for Vadivelu for two reasons – Prashanth is his close ally and Thiagarajan belongs to the pro-DMK group. Amidst these observations, Vadivelu came out with an explanation that he is not running out of fear. Rather he has to fulfill certain personal commitments.

Vadivelu said he too is an ordinary human being with feelings and commitments. He appealed to people not to be carried away by the webbed rumors about him. He said he has no fear over any politicians nor against any particular political leader. As a family man, he is doing his routine work and is on the verge of coming back soon.
