Karthi denied entry

There were some tense moments for the organizers of the new Theatre Owners’ Association inauguration ceremony, as the Gymkhana Club refused entry to actor Karthi. The star was there to inaugurate the new Theatre Owners Association but was denied entry as he was not wearing a collared shirt.
As per the norms of the club, only people wearing collared shirts are allowed in. Despite repeated pleas by the organizers, Karthi was not allowed in and he had to wait in his car. Finally, the organizers budged in and arranged for a brand new collared shirt to be brought in.
The star changed his clothes in his car before entering into the club. It may be mentioned here that several theatre owners from down south had to wait outside as they were all in casual clothes.
