Asin & Shanthanoo shed weight

It looks like this is the season for actors to shed extra kilos and to sport fresh new looks. Only recently we learnt Atharva has lost ten kilos for Bala’s ‘Eriyum Thanal’. Now Asin and Shanthanoo Bhagyaraj have joined this bandwagon.

While Shanthanoo, the ‘Sakkarakatti’ and ‘Kanden’ actor, lost weight for a forthcoming film, the Malabar girl shed kilos just to “look healthy and good.” “I am feeling great now,” says Asin, who was on a strict diet.

Says Shanthanoo, who recently made his presence felt at the CCL matches, “I have signed a promising project for which I had to reduce my weight. I can’t reveal anything more than this at this point of time. Things will be made official soon.”

When we probed, we found that a young director, who recently gave a hit in Kollywood, has signed Shanthanoo for his upcoming film, which would hit the floors soon. A popular actress is expected to be the leading lady of this project.
