Who is the heroine in the Tamil remake of the Hindi film Kahaani?

Vidhya Balan had got the National Award for best acting in the Hindi film The Dirty Picture. After this she had acted in the film titled Kahaani.

 

This is a thriller film about a pregnant lady who comes to India in search of her missing husband. This film became a great hit than the film The Dirty Picture. The producer is in high spirit since this film is pouring money on him.

Kahaani is still retaining its number one position in the Chennai box office itself. Once another language film becomes a hit, people will indulge in remaking it in Tamil. Now there is a stiff competition among the producers to acquire the Tamil remake rights of this film. There was news that Sneha might act in the Tamil version which Vidhya Balan did in Hindi but Sneha has mentioned that no one has contacted her with regard to this.
