Anushka refuses to act in the Tamil and Telugu remake of Dirty Picture

There is information that Anushka has refused to act in a Tamil remake of a Hindi film. South Indian popular actress is currently acting in the Tamil film Erandam Ulagam. This film which is being directed by Selvaraghavan has Arya in the lead role.

The Hindi film Dirty Picture which had Vidhya Balan in the lead role is being remade in Tamil now. Anushka was approached by the production house to don the role which Vidhya Balan donned in Hindi but Anushka did not accept the role.Anushka is also currently acting in Karthi starrer Alex Pandian and Vikram starrer Thandavam.It is important to note that the Bollywood film Dirty Picture won the National Award in the best film category.
