One more director-turned actor
The process of actors turning into directors and vice versa is a regular happening in the industry. Starting from Kamal to Venkat Prabu and STR, and that of Bagyraj, Cheran, Partheepan, Ameer, the list is fast increasing in its volume. The latest addition is Subramania Siva, the popular director through Thiruda Thirudi, Seedan, Pori and Yogi. He confirmed that his next project will see him spend the screens as well.
Jeyamohan’s novel Ulogam will be the base for this film and Siva said he would kick off this movie in another ten days. He added that Jeyamohan will also create the dialogues for the film as much as his task for Mani Ratnam’s Kadal. Siva said depending on the significance of the story he would pick the right cast and the crew. Regarding the story line, Siva did not make any remark telling that all that he would do now is to announce the project only.
On his choice for the protagonist role, Siva said he came to the decision after going through the story. He assured that the film would satisfy the audience logically and commercially. For the title of the movie, Siva said he would disclose it on the day of preliminary shooting.
