The film was earlier reported to be hampered by financial issues, but the producers deny such stories as baseless rumours. The film will hit screens on Diwali day while Vijay’s Thuppakki will see through the tunnel of light before the festive day. Yes, the makers of Thuppakki are planning to release on November 9. Since, Poda Podi is opening on November 13, it can have a better opening as well.
