Acting as an Army man is a new experience: Vijay about Thuppakki
The film Thuppakki which has Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles is being released for Deepavali. A R Murugadoss has directed this film.
Vijay while speaking about this said, “ It was a new experience for me when I acted in the role of an Army personnel in the film Thuppakki.
This is only a small portion in this film. The story of this film is about an army soldier who encounters problems on his return to his native place.
I was exhilarated when I wore the army uniform. I was able to feel the feelings of the soldiers who wear this uniform every day.
Acting in a film which has the combination of A R Murugadoss and Santhosh Shivan is like a dream that has been fulfilled.
Usually the producers approach me and tell me the story and ask me to act in their films. They will also speak about the directors. Sometimes they will also ask me to act in the remake films.
When I was shooting for Nanban, my father approached me and told me that director A R Murugadoss has a story for me and whether I was willing to act in it.I was very happy. Kajal Agarwal was a suitable heroine for me. The audience and my fans will like her.”
