Lawrence is donning the lead role and is also directing this film. Tapsee is donning the female lead role in this film. Lakshmi Rai had donned the female lead role in the film Kanchana.
Speaking about acting in the ghost film, Tapsee said, “It is very thrilling to act with Lawrence in Muni 3. In my younger days I used to be very scared to see ghost films. Hence I never see ghost films. Now, when Lawrence narrated the story, I liked my role very much. Hence I agreed to act. Many are asking me that whether I am acting in the role which Lakshmi Rai was supposed to do. I am unaware of this.”
